Was looking for a place to stay near cathedral gorge, this is 1 of the 2 options nearby 😂. Only a 5-6 minute drive to get to the park, so convenient. But it’s an interesting place it’s a house with a common kitchen, 2 bedrooms with their own bathrooms that can be booked within the house, and then there’s a large space in the middle and then the door to the ranchers retreat (which is the 1 bedroom apartment). It is locked with a key pad code which is nice. Then there is a den area with another space that can be booked, but not sure how many beds/bathrooms that is. It looks a little sketchy driving up to the area but once you see the house you park at the guest parking area around the side. The property is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Check in was done over the phone there wasnt really a front desk where you talk to someone. They gave me codes to the house and to our 1 bedroom apartment within the house. They asked what time we wanted breakfast in the AM. The 1 bedroom apartment was so spacious with cabinets everywhere. There is a bedroom with TV and king size bed. One full bathroom, then a small hallway with a kitchenette and a small fridge, another king size bed and then a couch at the foot of the bed that i believe pulls out into a bed. There is bar soap, lotion, and hybrid shampoo/conditioner bottles in the bathroom. We walked around the corner to pine tree inn for breakfast at that house, and it included a yogurt parfait, sausage patty, toast, scrambled eggs, and shredded potato hash brown. Let them know if you have any dietary restrictions during check in. Breakfast was delicious, our stay was so comfortable i wish i had booked another night! O and from the guest parking lot, at night we could see the stars it was incredible! Went to cathedral gorge to see stars and didnt need to, from the property we could actually see them better and it was so beautiful. Be prepared on Sunday most things are closed for resturants and the panaca market as well.

This was our 3rd stay with the owner at one of her two B&B's in Panaca, NV and the 2nd at Swallow Cove. As always, everything was perfect from the facility to the home-cooked breakfast and the interaction with other guests at the two facilities. Panaca is basically "in the middle of nowhere" and the Pine Tree Inn and Swallow Cove are exceptional places to stay on the long road (US93) between either Las Vegas or Mesquite, NV and Ely, NV. And if you want to stay for a couple of days, there are some worthwhile places to check out in the area, including a variety of State Parks and the old mining town of Pioche. We will definitely be staying again on our travels south for some winter sunshine and warm weather.

I wasn't aware that I had booked a bed and breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Panaca, NV is far from anything. There is no restaurant in town but the taco truck was there the night I stayed. The market was well stocked and the B&B had a kitchen for use. It was creepy quiet (that is a good thing). If I ever go that way again I would definitely stay and spend more than 1 night. I was unable to enjoy the breakfast as I left very early in the morning.

We were pleasantly surprised of how well this property is handled. Facility is well maintained. Jenny is a fantastic host! Too bad we were just passing through. Would have not minded to stay another day or two if our schedule permitted it. The breakfast nook is also cozy and food is freshly cooked. I can’t give enough praise for this property. We appreciate as well her recommendation on visiting local attractions.

Perfect location for exploring the Nevada State Parks in the area. Easy check in. Bed was very comfortable. Microwave and fridge was handy. There were basic dishes and cups to use. Lots of light and wall receptacles. There was a full hot breakfast served but you had to drive or walk a short distance to a sister property for it. It was delicious and very worth it.
